I've had the pleasure of watching this film a few times now, and each time it is a new thrill. J.J. Abrams and cast and crew have done a remarkable job of revitalizing the classic and well-loved franchise.

I particularly enjoyed the humor and nods to the original series. Scotty crying, "I'm givin' her all she's got, Captain!" Spock's timeless, "fascinating." And McCoy's, "Dammit Jim." While the references were plentiful, they weren't overwhelming.

I was thrilled with the performances of every cast member, which is impressive. I felt sure, going in, that I'd be disappointed in someone. Even Simon Pegg's quirky personality was quickly endearing and memorable. Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto were amazing, and I'm looking forward to more adventures from them both!
